Week 10.....Can I Clear.....Bump

I'm on week 10 of t3.....up to 62.5 mcg Cytomel. My ferritin has come up from 22

to 39 in 6 weeks. (I know it needs to come up more, and I'm working on it). Labs

3 weeks ago showed following:

Tsh, .02 range .40 - 4.50

total t4 1.6 range 4.5 - 12.5 mcg/dl

ft4 .3 range .8 - 1.8 ng/dL

ft3 494 range 230 - 420 pg/dL

total t3 247 range 75 - 181 ng/DL

rt3 <5 L range 11 - 32

So I understand this is just what serum indicates and not cellular, is that

correct? Doctor wanted to put me on a t3/t4 meds, but I would not do it at this

point. Can I clear on such a low dosage of Cytomel as 62.5 mcg? I am not raising

it now per Val's advice, as my ferritin needs to come up more. Do my labs look

about right for someone who is at the stage I am taking Cytomel only?

Your labs are looking fine! The T4 is supressed as it should be to

clear the RT3 and your FT3 is over range but NOT high enough which is

what I think it would be on your dose. I would continue ot raise the T3

as you get the iron up and I htink you wil lclear just fine.
