Guest guest
Give the decrease at least 3-4 days to see what it does ot pulse. Unlike popular belief not all effects of T3 are immediate! Many can take weeks to surface. The teariness probabyl has more to do with her cycle and sex hormoens. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ valerie... i told my daughter to drop her 6.25's at those 2 times..as it turned out she dropped her one last night and today will drop both of them'  this morning at 9 am her temp was 98.7 blood pressure 123/77 and pulse was stil 95....does this sound like too much t3?? since her dose last night was 6.25 less i was hoping for it to show lower pulse  how long before she will notice a decrease in hyper symptoms after dropping doses?  if she has too much T3 could this make her feel depressed and teary especially in the mornings? thank you so much..don tknow what i would do with out you! man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!!  but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)...  she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and  hovered around 99-100.3  so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92....  could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3??  how does she tell the difference..can you advise?? Guest guest
ok val...is there anything i can do for the teariness...she is not pms yet!!and if she is hyper would that cause just elevate pulse and keep bp ok?? man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!! but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)... she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and hovered around 99-100.3 so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92.... could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3?? how does she tell the difference..can you advise?? Guest guest
Hyper can either raise BP or lower it depends on how her cortiosl responds ot it. The teariness sometimes we just have to get through it as best we can. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.faqhelp.webs.com/ http://www.health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ ok val...is there anything i can do for the teariness...she is not pms yet!! and if she is hyper would that cause just elevate pulse and keep bp ok?? man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!!  but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)...  she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and  hovered around 99-100.3  so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92....  could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3??  how does she tell the difference..can you advise?? Guest guest
The thing with Mono is that si Epstein Barr Virus thta causes it and it si a KNOWN trigger for Hashi's. So she may ablso be havign antibody attack which si making her swing hyper as well. She could drop another 12.5mcg and stil not bein danger of being really hypo so that might eb the best course of action until her illness settles down which can take 6 weeks wiht Mono. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ valerie...i need your advice again!  this daughter of mine..had been sick..turns out it was mono...she is heading into week 2 of it...she is feeling better but not 100% yet..anyway  4 days ago i had her lower her meds ...you suggested she go down to 1 grain NT plus 12.5 12,5. 12.5 12.5 of T3 meds....  she has done that since friday....  however today at 630 am....her temp was 98.6 (could be low grade fever still from mono as it is known to come and go), pulse of 91, and bp of 133/74  she said her throat is a bit sore this am too ..which also comes and goes...  should she lower meds again?? i am so confused as to how to tell sickness from hyper...is there any way to do that?? i think yesterday she had a temp of 98.9 at 11 pm and pulse of 86 and her blood pressure was a tad high at 140/84 (although she said she had not sat really still for long before taking it)  so does this sound hyper or fever?? i know both can raise temps which can also raise pulse and bp? man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!!  but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)...  she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and  hovered around 99-100.3  so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92....  could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3??  how does she tell the difference..can you advise?? Guest guest
damn!! she had lost a few pounds and is thrilled with that....hate to tell her it might go away!! should she drop the 12.5 at one dose or divide it into 2... should she go ahead and do this right now or wait a while longer before lowering.... man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!! but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)... she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and hovered around 99-100.3 so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92.... could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3?? how does she tell the difference..can you advise?? Guest guest
valerie..i had my daughter do pulse and all again to see how it was going before we dropped another 12.5 of t3 at about 2 pm her temperature was 99.3, pulse94-98, blood pressure 110/83 (repeated and it was 117/80... based on this and her 6 30 am readings below do you thimk she should go ahead and drop another 12.5 or could the elevated pulse be from elevated body temp due to a low grade fever from mono.... if you think she should go ahead and cut back should she cut it in 6.25 portions from 2 times?? she said she actually feels good today and is not breathless like she had been before we dropped the other 12.5 4 days ago... man..i hate to keep asking stupid questions all the time!! but claire (my 19 yr old) who has had a really bad virus (flu or mono not sure what)... she might be still running a low grade fever cause her basal temp this am at 630 was 98.6 and last night before bed her temp was 100.3...her temp has been as high as 103.7 but the last couple of days it has lowered and hovered around 99-100.3 so this mornig after her basal of 98.6 her blood pressure was 113/72 and her pulse was high at 92.... could this high pulse be from lingering fever or is her lingering fever due to too much T3?? how does she tell the difference..can you advise??
