phone appt today

I have a phone appt today with my doctor since I'm out of town. I'm hoping to

get him to agree to a prescription of Cytomel instead of Naturethroid because my

T3/RT3 ratio is 9%. Any tips on what to say and how to persuade. At last count

my ferritin was 12, I'm hoping it's increased due to heavy supplementation and

an Iron IV but won't be able to retest until Sep. In any case it will probably

take a while for me to get my ferritin up to the point that I am absorbing the

T3 without making RT3 from my T4 (is that right? or am I misguided)

Thanks so much,

Beth

GO to our LINKS section where it says Iron and thyroid thta is what

you need ot send to your doc. It ois form Dr Holtorf and explains thta

iron is necessary for conversin and also on his site is the

recommendation to just take T3 to reduce RT3.
