Guest guest
I would like to start NTH and gradually come off t3. I am not doing well with protocol. Switched from 100mcg srt3 to cynomel on 7/15. Started HC on 7/7 25mg. Was on srt3 since OCt 2009, had rt3 (synthroid 62) and low t3 so ramped slowly up 100mcg. LABs 3/02/10 Was on 62.5T4 and srt3 (small amts) but stopped T4 after these results. Started ramping srt3 slowly tsh 2.48 Ft4 0.4 (0.8-1.8) Ft3 283 (230-420) Ratio 31 5/18/10 Ft3 324 230-420 Rt3 17 No tsh or t4 taken? Ratio 19 Cortisol m 4.3 3.7-9.5 n 3.0 1.2-3.0 e 0.6 0.6-1.9 n 0.5 0.4-1.0 Temps past week 97.6 97.9 97.8 97.8 97.8 97.8 98.0 Was taking my SRt3 in am only and tolerating well but got tired at 4 so retrospect should of dosed 2xd. Then broke up doses to 3xd and decreased dose because of concerns of dumping when starting HC. went down to 65 SRt3 Before starting switch. 7/7 After starting HC got headaches, yeast problems. Temp got stable although they were not too bad before. 7/15 Started changing over SRt3 to cynomel starting switch in am dose 25mcg (50mcg srt3), other doses switched over gradually. Then found out I needed to spread out doses to 4xd, so I did and increased every couple of days as directed. Got up to 62.5mcg t3. Tolerating until.. 8/2 STARTED WITH ADVERSE REACTIONS TO PROTOCOL symptoms: ( decreased t3 to 25mg, now at 31.25 unable to increase.) Waking up 3-4am with hrt pounding, racing, adrenaline surges.extreme weakness. Unable to function all day B/p 120/80,120/78,110/68,100/82(standing). TEMPS as above This contin on a daily basis now. I've been unable to function normally which I need to change my approach as this is not working. I was thinkig about trying to either go back to the SRt3 as before and just increase it like i was and dose 2xd OR start NTH (haven't done that yet).
