Guest guest
Mods, I am in a catch 22 situation right now. Either way I feel awful. My current HC dosing is : 10, 10, 7.5 , 7.5, 5 at bedtime My current T3 is 112.50. 18.75 every 2 hours. Last one being at 6pm. When I started to reach 100 T3 I was getting more hypo. Nick said it was because I reached the point when I am suppressing the thyroid, receptors are still blocked. I started to increase every week by 6.25 and I am now at 112.50. At 106.25 my eyes were horribly dry, blood shoot, little more puss drainage. I increased to 112.50 and it has helped, but now my adrenals are feeling the effect at this dose. My conclusion is now that I am becoming more hypo, doesn't this cause my adrenals more stress, at the same manner increasing the T3? Now that I am at 112.50, I am still quite hypo, but by the late afternoon and at night, my adrenals are hurting. I had to stress dose to keep them calm in the middle of the night. If I go back to where the adrenals don't hurt, then I am miserable with the hypo symptoms. I am in a catch 22 situation. During this situation should I increase the HC to get over this hump and or lower the T3 back to 106.25 and ride it out until my adrenals are stronger with the little increase? Not sure what to do, I am in the bind right now. I am miserable either way. Thanks,

Guest guest
For almost 6 months now. I had to slowly increase due to low ferritin which was a 25, and supplemented with iron. > > Mods, > > > > I am in a catch 22 situation right now. Guest guest
I think when you started to feel badly at 100mcg T3 it was form high cortisol. And I htink NOW oyu need ot reduce HC . Clearing RT3 takes a TON of strain off the adrenals. http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Mods, > > I am in a catch 22 situation right now. Guest guest
, I requested a call so hopefully we can get this figured out instead of emails going back and forth. I don't feel like I have cleared my receptors, my temp is still low. I barely can make it past 98F. I did not think high cortisol will cause the adrenals to hurt so much? Do I bring down T3 to 100 and go down on HC too? I guess the phone conversation will answer this. Thanks, > > Mods, > > > > I am in a catch 22 situation right now. Guest guest
Thanks Val for the phone conversation. For the others reading in I am having two tests done to see if I am high or low cortisol and if my potassium levels are getting too low. The tests are electrolyte and FT3. Will post them next week. Since I will lower my T3 to 106.25 to where I wasn't hurting, I need a few days for my body to adjust and then do the lab work. - > > Mods, > > > > I am in a catch 22 situation right now.
