Nothing that I personally see is bad, but I would suggest you watch your sugar intake and drink plenty of water, not soda regular or diet.

I do watch sugar--eat mainly high protein, so what does that mean? Anything else

look odd?

It means your fasting glucose (I assume this was fasting, right?) is way too

high. A truly normal fasting glucose is under 85 and most normal people have

fasting glucose in low to mid 70s. You are very close to what would be called

" pre-diabetic. " I would buy a glucose meter and test your your blood glucose 1

and 2 hours after eating. It should not go higher than 140 after 1 hour and 120

after 2 hours. Jacki always mentions a very wonderful site called blood sugar

101.com. And it says that although these are the numbers people with impaired

glucose tolerance should shoot for, truly normal people will actually have a

blood glucose under 100 within 2 hours after eating. However, the 120 at two

hours is a good range to shoot for to avoid getting diabetes or damaging your

beta cells and other organs.

Well, I commented that in addition to watching your sugar, you need to take some

other steps because you are actually getting toward prediabetic with that

fasting glucose, if not there already. :-(

I don't see anything else bad with your labs, though, so that's good. I'm not an

expert, however. Lethal lee would probably be a better one to ask on some of

these. Val is gone for 3 days.
