Val question about florinef

Hi, when I went to the doc on Thurs. from my blood test and loosing all my potassium he decided I need florinef. I got florinef on my own 2 yrs. Ago. You said you thought I might need it. I took it for awhile but had so many things wrong at that time.

He told me to take 2 a week. So what do you think about that. And will there be side effects. My potassium was up because I took 4 20MLQ pot. and 1 fizzy that is 25MLQ the day before the blood draw. He said now take 2 Klor Con 20MLQ a day. I just had to drink a fizzy because I was getting really bad pot. Symptoms today. That is not enough for me now. Do I need to make sure pot. Is up before I take the florinef? Will florinef save potassium? Thanks, Bernetta

Guess he has never taken Florinef. I woul try 1/4 a day rather than 2 a

week. Florinef to be effective MUST be taken daily or it woudl cause

horrid side effects. Even if oyu need it. Yes I woudl make certain

potasisum was good before takign it, adn I have never heard that

Florinef helps oyu hold potassium butrather it causes potassium to go

down.

Thanks Val, I feel better now becasuse I feel scared to start it. So I don't have to be afraid that I am taking

to much pot. when I start it ...right?

No havign even a bit high potassium is probably a good thing when

starting Florinef.,
