Aldosterone and Florinef question

I am not understanding all I need to know about low aldosterone and florinef.

Ok I have low aldosterone and I keep loosing my potassium just like last summer. My blood pressure is usually a bit high because I haven't been on any potassium untill just last week. I take some salt but don't know how much to take. The doc say he thinks florinef will help my problem. Does this sound right to you? And florinef will cause me to loose more potassium? Right? I just took my BP and it was 140/85 P61. My BP gets lower at night. I just feel like I need more info about this. Thanks, Bernetta
