Starting school is very stressful. If she's lowered her dose give it a couple of days and then lower it the same amount again. Her BP could be from stress, also she still could be fighting an illness at the same time. Try to keep her calm and make sure she's drinking fluids and remind her to get enough rest, if that's possible in school.

ok...my daughter who i cannot tell if she is sick or her T3 is too high..went to clinic at school

she was running a high temp at 9 this morning of 99.3...with a pulse of about 84

then at 2 pm at clinic after being in heat and eating lunch her temp was only 98.3 ( i am making her retake it when she gets home) but my biggest concern was her blood pressure..it was 136/71...so her bp is up but her temps are down???? not sure about pulse..

so if someone can tell me what to do...her blood pressure had always been low...then when we raised her T3 it went up to 117/59...now it it too high for her age and weight etc..

i have a call request into val but i think she is gone maybe for whole week so i am wondering what to tell my daughter..i did have her lower her am dose today by 6.25 just in case....any advise would be appreciated...

I agree. Also, if she WAS sick, that raises cortisol, which could raise BP.

I think Val is back tomorrow.

Dawn,

I know you are just trying to be a good mama but she should not have lowered her

dose. Her BP is fine. I think you are just making your self crazy over nothing

more than a little cold and your baby away at college. Her temps are high

because she is fighting an illness nothing more.
