Guest guest
I have only been working with this a few months and don't seem to be making any progress. The first was a low T3. My GP started me on 5cmg Cytomel. Stayed there 3 months. It made the T3 Lower. Then after reading all this it was changed to 75ctmg. Somewhere along the line I realized that my pulse was staying 120. Val suggested I cut to 50 cmg. No difference in pulse. I went to a new doctor that treats with natural hormones fully expecting to be put on Armor. She did lots of labs. When I went back yesterday I had taken a copy of Nicks how to change directions. I hadn't noticed it before and my eyes popped when I saw the last line indicated it might not be the best. "If it does not work then give up, swap back to T3 only, and stay on it long term." I was further surprised for her to suggest either changing to Armour or adding synthroid. I didn't know what to say as I sure would have licked to understand Nicks better. I reluctantly said Synthroid. If Armour is better I will get back to her and ask for a change. I ended up with Synthroid 0.05 mg 25 MCG Cytomel So I need help. Rt3 L5- (11-32) I was on T3 only so didn't think this could happen nor that some RT3 was good. Free T3 339.00 (202-443) Free T4 L (0.3 (0.7-1.9 Thanks ever so much Betty I double posted this on Natural thyroid site as I think these 2 sites have different people. If that isn't the case let me know.
