Christel, FIRST I do nto throw people off lists for anythign but the

WORST transgressions. Yu would have to be VERY rude, nasty or try to

sell things on the groups for me to throw you off. You have a very real

concern and I am happy to help you on any grouop with something as scary

as this. But I doubt you are in any danger especialy as you have high

RT3. You SHOULD be on some adrneal support as this wil make your Rt3

rise horribly. I woudl get some HC cream and start using it at 25mg

daily to protect your adrneals. 10-7.5-5-2.5 dosing. STOP the T4, all of

it. It will tKE AT LEAST A WEEK MAYBE TWO FOR TI TO GO DOWN IN YOUR

BLOOD,. If you get heart arrythmias which I do NOT think will happen, go

to doc or ER and ask for Beta blockers. Atenolol or propanolol will

safely get you thogh this IF serious symptoms should appear.

I cannot thank you enough.

Your answer is reassuring and frightening at the same time.

OK, starting tomorrow I'll stop my T4 for 2 weeks. And then, go back to my

normal dose or slowly start and build up?

How long do I use the cream for? The dosage you're advising me now, is the same

dosage you told me to take based on my saliva test. So maybe I'll just use the

cream and continue with the pills once they arrive? (if ever)

If this is too much adrenal stuff, I'll just use the cream untill next week and

get back to you then.

I'm rushing to the pharmacy now, don't know if hc is OTC over here.

The cream is OTC everywhere as far as I know. Iyt si sold for rashes

and bug bites. Actually once that 2 weks is up would be a good time to

start T3 rather than just compounding the Rt3 issue wiht more and more T4.

OK, I've got the cream, yeah!

There still is the iron issue though, concerning the T3 only. I doubt my

ferritin will already be high enough.

Maybe I'll get a new blood test done at the end of next week, see how it is.

With this T4-overdose for weeks, how could it be that I was having really

horrific hypo symptoms like hair loss, exhaustion, etc. Is this because of my

RT3?

I've stopped my T4 since last Sunday and started on hc cream, and I'm feeling a

bit less wired up now, but still in a lot of pain and having fluid retention,

shortness of breath (I have to gasp for air - panting all the time), very tired

but not sleepy, feeling like I weigh 100 kg, dragging my feet, etc.

Is this thyroid related or could this be adrenal? Or both?

I'm going to have my iron tested later this week to see if I'm allowed to go on

T3 only.

If it's OK, when should I start and on how much? I normally took 137.5 µg of

levo. If my ferritin is still too low (what I'm afraid off), I guess I'll have

to go back to the levo. When and how much?
