Hi Val, etc,

I think I very well have gone through clearance around week

12 (now entering week 13) of T3 only and now I am trying to slowly raise my

dose until my temps are normal. I am back up to 75 mcg per day, dosed four

times a day. I feel very foggy, somewhat lethargic and have a slight

headache but otherwise I feel better than I have for some 12 weeks now.

I took my blood pressure an hour ago and it was 99/66

(I just retook bp and it was 111/76) which is really low, my pulse was 75 again

lower than it has been and my temperature at midday was 98. Earlier around 9:00

it was 98.4. I am now thinking that the headache might be that low blood

pressure but if not that what could be wrong? Is that adrenal? Low salt? I took

potassium earlier about 190 mg along with magnesium and calcium, so that may

have had an effect. Our power has been out for 12 hours, so I haven’t

taken any salt water either.

I plan to raise again on Wednesday but every time I raise my

dose I have one or so days of increased pulse and shaky hands and then it all

settles down again and I feel normal. Is there a problem with that or does that

indicate pooling?

One more question and then I will close. I have a minty,

burning feeling(not a bad taste but burning) in my mouth almost all the time. I

am beginning to think it might be the T3 I am using but I have no interest in

stopping it for a day to find out. Has anyone experienced this sensation? Does

anyone have a suggestion as to how I could test my theory? I really don’t

want to go back to my ERFA now as I am clearing but I could to see if the burning

sensation goes away.

Thanks so much,

Kris

It indicates adrenal stress as does your low BP. Yu might try some

Isocort for a few weeks to get this up where it needs ot be.

Thanks Val I will try Isocort. Should I take it on a 3-3-2-1 schedule for a

couple of weeks or do I need more than 9 pellets a day to correct the problem?
