I would give it some time and also check her poulse. The pulse is

another good indicator of T3 levels,

valerie...my

daughter has raised her T3 meds by 6.25 in the morning and

6.25 in the nighttime dose...so she is now on 1 grain NT

(divided) 18.5, 12.25, 12.25, 18.5 of T3 meds

she takes melatonin and bedtime....her basal temps

are still low (seems they have not gone back up since

she quit taking the zinc so i am wondering if these

lower basals are the true numbers and before they were

elevated due to cortisol?? is that possible??) anyway

her basal is running 97.3

does she just continue to raise meds till that basal

comes back up?? or do we sit here and see if the zinc

effect wears off...cause her basal temps were higher

before she took that zinc for 3 days at bedtime....

her pulse just now was 78 and her temp at 11:30 was 98.4.....is that a good pulse??it seems like her basal temps were higher when she was on a lower dose of T3 meds and more NT but i guess that was because she still had enough T4 that might have converted to FT3??? just wondering??

If she is in relatively good physical hape that is a bit high pulse

for a young gal. I owuld not increase the T3 from there and just

hold an dsee if the temps start to come up better in a week or so.

yes she is in good shape she is very athletic...2 weeks ago at doctor her bp was 117/68 and pulse was only 68....that was before we increased 12.5 in the day....should we cut back on one of the 6.25 increases or sit here and see what happens??

With her temps that low sitll I would just hold it unless she feels

short of breath, If that sympotoms happens it migh tbe best to

reduce agian.
