I would cut the iron way down to maybe 1 pill a dya but not stop it

until your T3 is optimal. BOTH sodium and potassium aer dismally low on

these labs. I would double your sea salt and get some slow release

potassium. Start wiht 10mEq daily and in two weeks goto 20mEq then get

labs ina wek after that.

I just have to ask you , about supping Potassium: I've been getting results from 3.6 (low range) to 4.8 (above top range) with my Serum Potassium in the evening, after eating, drinking and taking meds/vitamins/minerals etc. the whole day.I've also seen a fasting Potassium at 4.1, last week, while only drinking 500 ml plain water and taking my 10 mg of HC before the blood draw.It seems to me like Potassium is fluctuating throughout the day, and can change very fast, depending on what we eat. Now, I think the RBC Potassium is the main clue. Isn't it?The main question: If one has a high range RBC Potassium (a good thing, right?), Serum Potassium can't POSSIBLY end up low range, can it? Or does RBC Potassium change fast too?Cause once you told me to take Pot supp, and I was like..

Hmmm.. Scared of it.. The next day, my Serum Potassium was above range in the evening.. And I was like WOW.. If I had taken a potassium pill, maybe it would've been too much potassium for me and it'd be dangerous? The whole Potassium thing is SO complex! Yikes.

You ned to ALWAYS do electrolyte panel when totally fastign,. They

cahnge VERY rapidly when eating foods that contian either salt or

potassium. Labs done after eating anythign are not valid as that is

nto what the ranges are set for. They are FASSTING ranges. An RBC

for potassium would be great btu s4eru, l;evels is what we need to

test when adjusting potassium as the serum whne it gets too high is

what is dangerous.

Thanks for the info. But, I just read your other post and I was not fasting for

this blood draw. So, it sounds like my results are worthless. Guess I better

go get them re-done.

Oh no, where is the post about needing to be fasting for electrolites? I just

had a huge blood draw this morning and I ate a couple of pecans so that I could

take hc and florinef. Will this screw everything up? :((

You are still VERY hypothyroid. You need mroe T3 as it shoudl be over

range when that is all you are taking as we have no T4 for conversion.

Too low a dose fo vitamin D seem to lower it from several labs I have

seen, it takes quite high doses to raise it. I take 10,000IU daily and

have for about 1.5 years and that keep s my levelsl looking really good.

work I had done. These are the tests from my saliva test I took last week. I

still have sweating and high heart rate. I'm trying to figure out the reason

for it. When I saw my doctor last weeks, I had no reflexes when she tested me.

She thought I was still hypo. I know I am because my tempts are still very low

and stay low. I'm taking 62.5 mcg of T3. broken up into five doses. I was

taking 50 mcg. when these tests were taken. I supplement with 5,000 - 10,000

Vit. D regularly so why is it so low? If you skill a few days or week does it

drop down? Last time I tested vit D it was at 50 without supplementation.

I have tried to increase my T3 over the last year and since my heart rate is already high around 100 when I increase T3 it goes even higher. I am waiting on my iron test. I had supplemented with iron over the last year on and off. I can't figure out why my high heart rate stays high. I've checked everything else including sodium. I supplement with Celtic salt. This is so frustrating not being able to find out why I have this heart rate issue. How much over range should T3 be? When it was in the 7 range I had very high heart rate issues so I lowered T3 to figure out the problem. I need to find the problem here I guess before I increase my T3?

T3free 352 (230-420)

Thank you!

Whta is most important is to track how that affects her. Ideally we want

to see FT4 at 1.4 adn FT3 at or slightly above range while on naturla

thyroid.
