Just an update with a question ...... > After talking to you yesterday and deciding I needed to stay on at least 20mg cortisol for the next week I ended up having a rough night. I took the 7.5 HC total for yesterday and then went into LOW CORTISOL during the night. I stress dosed and got the levels back up and it reduced shakes, nausea ect . . . . I still had very high heart rate, anxiousness as I have for the past week whether I was on 32.5mg HC or down to 20 for 2 days prior to yesterday. > > I thought it would be best not to take any cynomel this morning. . . . and as the day has progressed the heart rate, anxiety have come down. I think I may gone through clearance. My question is on RT3 instruction page it talks about clearance possibly happening at the 10 week mark and to STOP taking T3 or cut it in half or quarter. It also says wait to take you next dose if your pulse is still too high. > > Question: IS it ok to go 24 hours without the T3 and check heart rate in the morning or wait till its normal then start back up on 1/2 of original dose? I still have some anxiety and rapid pulse but its better than all week. >>>>> >>>>> Thank you again >>>>> Sage >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> ------------------------------------ >>>>> >>>>> We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
Val, Its 1:30 a.m. can't sleep at all, pounding heart, palps, high heart rate, slight anxiety are back after taking 50mcg of T3 today. Just took 1/2 a xanex to try and get some rest. I really hate having to medicate these symptoms. I took 22.5mg HC today and don't have any shakes or nausea. Stomach a little upset due to anxiousness. BP 126/80 bpm 96. This blood pressure is higher than it has been. Its been averaging around 115/65. The bottom number has me wondering if this is low aldosterone. It seems to have lowered in the past 5 days or so more since I've come down on HC. I'm taking 3 tsp of salt daily. I just started into my 11 week today. Is this part of the RT3 clearing out to have these symptoms and have to go so far down on T3 at this stage? I got up to 62.5mcg of T3 for several weeks before bumping up to 80mcg and now can't even tolerate 50. Just feeling discouraged and hoping all this is part of process. I keep telling myself to be patient. Its very hard with the anxiety. I've always had this problem with thyroid I get to point where it definitely relieves certain symptoms and I feel better then I get other ones that are hard to live with. Thanks for letting me vent. Thank you and Blessings Sage > >>>> > >>>> > >>>>> Hi Val, > >>>>> This is Sage. Just an update with a question ...... > >>>>> After talking to you yesterday and deciding I needed to stay on at least 20mg cortisol for the next week I ended up having a rough night. I took the 7.5 HC total for yesterday and then went into LOW CORTISOL during the night. I stress dosed and got the levels back up and it reduced shakes, nausea ect . . . ..
