Hi,

When my rT3 got down to 369, my NP switched me back to Armour, but it wasn't

available. So I have been taking a compounded slow release Armour equivalent,

called C-thyroid for the last 2 months. It is compounded and slow release. The

dose is 30mg. Before that, I was taking Cytomel.

Now my blood work shows that my rT3 is high again.

rT3 492 pg/ml 90-350

Free T3 2.6 pg/ml 2.0-4.4

I think the ratio is .00528. Or is that .0528?

I eat a low carb, Paleo type diet. No gluten, dairy or soy.

I feel fine. Not perfect, but fine. I feel better on the NT instead of the

Cytomel, but I am not certain it is the medication. It could be the change of

season and getting more sun.

Have I calculated the ratio correctly?

Any Paleo eaters here?

Did we change back from Cytomel too quckly? I'm reading like crazy, but I

haven't finished it all yet. Is the goal for RT3 to be less than 200 before

switching?

My ferritin was over 70 at the last check. My D was 57 and I'm trying to get

that a bit higher.

thanks
