FT3/RT3 ratio

Hi all,

I had a ratio of 14 before starting asustained release T4/T3 combo for the first

time. My question is when I get labs done again, will the FT3/RT3 ratio while

on dessicated thyroid reflect whether the RT3 is being cleared?

For instance, if my ratio comes back at 20 or higher, does that indicate that

the T4/T3 combo is working? Or are lab values skewed once you are on any type of

T4 or T3? What should I look for next time labs are done?
