Guest guest
We need ranges on those labs for them to be of use. All labs seem to have their own set of ranges. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Hello, I know I have a RT3 problem already but am working on getting ferritin up right now. In the meantime, I had these labs run 9 days before my period came. I'm 52 y.o. female, hypo, pre-diabetic, still menstruating regularly. The doctor (D.O) gave me a mixed bio idential hormone cream - it says biest/progest/testost 1 mg/20mg/.25mg which I haven't tried yet because of the negative comments here on a mixed cream. Also my gyno says these results show I'm still making estrogen so she says I shouldn't be taking estrogen. Would appreciate opinions. Guest guest
So I am guessing these are in the LUTEAL phasse? If they are th eestrogen is stil too low. With a range of 43.8-211 and you are at 62.3 I htink it would be MUCH better in the upper third of it;s range too , SO I thingk you DO need estrogne. Especially wiht pre-diabetes. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > > Here are results with ranges.
Just wanted to add that I take 30 mg USP thyroid, then it was increased to double doses three times a week which sent me above range on T4, so they dropped me back to 30 mg daily which produces these results making me hypo again. Guest guest
No I think you need all three sex hormones. Th pancreas has estrogne receptors that stimulate insulin production. When I went back on Premarin, I was able to cut my insulin dosing by 1/3rd which si a significant drop. It is also rather convenient that I became Diabetic during the time whne docs had convinced me to stop estrogen. Estrogne and testosterone also both reduce insulin resistance. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Val, So would you recommend that I only take estrogen?
