Guest guest
> >My temps have been going down during this hypo epidodes. I used to have an average at about 98.0 and never seem to get it any higher. There are times like yesterday I felt really great, but then I become so hypo. Today, my morning temp was 97.8, then the rest of the day it stayed at 97.1, which is uncommon for me to have. Even when I took my T3, it stayed at 97.1. I even tried to stress dose a little of HC to see if it increased my temp but it doesn't, in fact I don't even feel a lift. Why I do not think it is low cortisol. No bright ideas, I suspect it's adrenal though. Have you had aldoesterone checked?? how are electrolytes?? 100 is not that high a dose, it's right in the middle of the " typical range " which covers 75 to 125. Have you any recent labs?? a temperature dropping during the day is normally adrenal. How are you spreading out the T3 and the HC?? Last night I had a yeast spell, all itchy and such. I normally don't get them during the day, mostly at night. I ate some grapes yesterday and I believe the little bit of sugar in them flared me last night. It caused my temp to go down. HC won't bring it up when I have yeast, only if I treat the yeast then it comes back up. But it doesn't answer my first question as to why I am getting more hypo as I get higher on T3? 40mg of HC is pretty high, and if I go higher I get edema. If I use salt I get edema. Like I wrote earlier I don't have dizzy spells from low electrolytes. Now that I am on 100mcg of T3, my edema is about all gone, cortisol fat on the belly is almost gone too. But now I just have the hypo symptoms like I don't even have T3 in my system. I was wondering can this occur right before a clearance? -
Guest guest
, I'm not a mod...just a comment. Some of us have found that other nutritional deficiencies seem to be part of the missing piece, and with that covered, HC dose can be cut back even, and T3 utilized better. Magnesium, B vitamins, and others. I think the issue is that low thyroid impacts so many other functions in the body, and tends to cause malabsorption too. I noticed my aches are not as bad and the shortness of breath is a little better. I am still hypo, but not as bad as it was. I am increasing it slowly because I don't want to miss my sweet spot and go beyond my clearance dose. In 3 days I will try another increase. Like being pregnant and you know it is almost time to give birth, you get those braxton hicks but it is only the body getting ready for the real contractions.
