Along with the ferritin, we recommend an iron panel, with a result showing % saturation. For best thyroid utilization, % saturation should be 35 to 45. (This is because sometimes the ferritin test result can sometimes be falsely high due to inflammation or other causes.) > > along with the ferritin, vitamin d and FT4 and Ft3?
