Guest guest
>Here's my test results: >TSH 1.470 uIU/ml 0.450-4.500 >Free T3 2.4 pg/ml 2.0-4.4 >Free T4 1.38 ng/dl 0.82-1.77 Horribly hypo, FT3 needs to be top of range. TSH is too high still FT4 is too high, at levels over 1.4 it tends to have the T4 converting to RT3 instead of T3 > >Iron and TIBC: >Iron Bind.Cap (TIBC) 323 ug/dl 250-450 >UIBC 274 ug/dl 150-375 >Iron, Serum 49 ug/dl 35-155 >Iron Saturation 15 % 15-55 > LOW, that saturation needs to be 35% at least in order to tolerate/utilize enough T3 >Cortisol >(blood) Done at 10.30 am 8.3 ug/dl 2.3-19.4 Looks low to me > >Vitamin D 27.3 ng/ml 32.0-100.0 > Low, needs to be a minimum of 50 and takes a lot to increase it, 10,000 IU a day will help that. >DHEA Sulafte 290.1 ug/dl 98.8-340.0 Don't know > >Reverse T3 436 pg/ml 90-350 OUCH, horrendous, that's where all the T4 is going >Ferritin, Serum 13 nd/ml 13-150 > OUCH, low, needs to be 70. Either iron IVs or 150mg of elemental iron a day for months. > > > >17- Alpha- Hydroxyprogesterone 80 ng/dl >follicular: 15-70 >Luteal: 35-290 don't know > >Testosteron, Serum (total) 39 ng/dl >premenopausal 10-55 > > Don't know >Androstenedione, Serum 173 ng/dl >Adult Female: 28-230 >I am 28 years old, and this was done on day 8 of my cycle. > Don't know> > >Cortisol, Saliva > >9am 6.1 ng/ml 8.0-15.0 >1 pm 2.4 3.0-7.0 >7 pm 1.8 2.0-4.0 >12am 1.4 <1.5 > Seriously low, you need HC >I am taking Vit D3, 10,000IU, Good > Iron Bisglycinate 25 mg, 3-4 pills a day, you need that much twice a day taken with vitamin C to help absorption >multivitamin, OK >T3/t4 compound ratio 5:20 respectively 30 mg once a day ( I reduced it from twice a day to clear rt3 since nothing helps much anyway), Totally under medicated hence the high TSH. You need to go T3 only to get rid of the RT3, just reducing the combination sends you hypo. RT3 is only made from T4, get rid of T3 and no more can be made and what's there decays over a period of months, >probiotic, omega 3. >My doctor prescribed cortef 5 mg twice a day. That's enough to make it worse!! It needs to be a minimum of 20mg a day. A small dose suppresses your own production but does not replace what it has suppressed. Join the adrenal group (details at end) and post the saliva labs there and they will help you with dosing that. >Please take a look at these and provide your expert advice. >Much thanks. You need Iron, HC, and T3 only. Get the combination right and you will feel a lot better Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com For lots of good information of adrenal issues http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com/ and the adrenal group on http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
