Guest guest
Look into pond care! Ponds are set up without chemicals and using natural biological filtration ot keep them clean and the water clear. I do nto knwo why someone could not set up a pool the same way and have it be healthy and good for them. I am gettign an educatioon abotu this very thing as I just set up a double pond in my front yard last week! http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Whenever I go swimming in pools it really loosens up my myalgia and seems to work better than anything else in this regards, but I try not to do this much because of chlorine, bromine, other pool chemicals and my thyroid. > > Anyone else avoid pools-or is this not an issue? > > And does anyone know of any natural ways to treat a pool as I might just get one because of the health benefits. > > Thanks > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
I googled " non toxic pool care " and got some interesting results, including this: http://www.pacificsandsinc.com/html/ecoone_pool.html Have never used them so can't personally recommend, but it sure looks better than chlorine. I think swimming is probably one of the best exercises for us. Years ago I had the good luck to live next to a very clean natural pond, and I think the many, many hours of swimming were tremendously beneficial to me. I avoid chlorine as much as I can. > > Whenever I go swimming in pools it really loosens up my myalgia and seems to work better than anything else in this regards, but I try not to do this much because of chlorine, bromine, other pool chemicals and my thyroid. > > Anyone else avoid pools-or is this not an issue? > > And does anyone know of any natural ways to treat a pool as I might just get one because of the health benefits. > > Thanks >
