Guest guest
Hi guys, I went for my 12 week scan yesterday and everything seems fine. My Ob did the nuchal fold scan and it was well within normal ranges so that was a relief. Heard the little heartbeat, which was lovely. Dr said that it is too early to see where baby has implanted (left or right horn of my BU)- my daughter (born 32 wks b/c of ruptured membranes) was in the right. He said that there are positives and negatives to both having baby in the same horn(would have been stretched) or diff horn(new blood supply to placenta) anyway, time will tell. He said that he will monitor my cervix and scan 4 weekly, and only do a stitch if there appears to be a problem. I am feeling much better to be reaching 12 weeks, and am sending this babe many positive thoughts about how nice and warm it is in my tummy, and not to be in a hurry to come out into the world!
