Guest guest
Hi Val, Nick or Margery, I just sent a question in about my potassium but I am puzzled by another issue as well. My daily temps were doing really well and hovering around 98.6 for days even going as high as 99 one or two days but mostly hovering steadily around 98.6. Yesterday, I suddenly started feeling unusually cool and this morning my basal was down to 97.6 where it has been at 97.8 most mornings since my last 6.25 raise a few days ago. During the day today I have checked my temp twice and it is at 98. Also my burning tongue has come back with a vengeance and the borders of my tongue are red. I am taking 93.75 mcg T3 and slowing making my way up again after dropping a couple of weeks ago to 75 mcg from 125 mcg. My latest FT3 reading was from August 17 and was 6.9 (2.0-4.4) and I was shaking so badly I couldn’t sign my name at the lab that day. Today my tremor suddenly seemed worse but I had a busy and hard day on Wednesday, cleaning, cooking and writing and then had company last night, 2 older brothers who make me uncomfortable. In addition I worked all day yesterday (dental hygienist) and after a later night last night went back to work for half a day today. Nothing about this is difficult normally but I am wondering why my temps have dropped and I feel cold. I am not on any adrenal support as I took some HC for about 8 days when I dropped my dose to 75 mcg but then weaned off the HC and have not taken anymore. My sex hormones are low (at my last test but that was October 2009) but I am taking Bi-est, progesterone and testosterone. Is this an adrenal issue or a hypo issue or could it be my sex hormones? I know I should know by now but I am really puzzled. Thank you for any help you can provide, Kris
