Hey,

I've been taking the 25mcg of cytomel. I did seven days of 12.5 at 6 a.m, then

another half pill at 6:00 pm. Posted here, and was recommended to titrate up

to an addition 1/4 of a pill...so did that last Friday. Began losing a ton of

hair again, (think ten to 12 coming out each time I run my hand through...) but

have hung in there at that dose since last friday. Got my saliva test results

and was recommended to start HC creme, 10mg. So have been doing that two days

ago. Also began monitoring temps, 'though I really don't know how to USE that

information. Hair loss continuing and really annoying and sad. My temps are

averaging 97.5 for the last couple days anyway.

I'm wondering now with the hair loss, did I have what I am reading about 'a

thyroid dump " and that's why the massive shed? Or am I just not on enough t3??

I'm getting my estriol/free testosterone/progesterone tested next week, and

maybe that'll help me know some things...

Till then, how often should I be adding cytomel, and can I expect this darned

hair stuff to END some day? (----and by end, I do not mean " and now she is

bald " ergo..no worries about more loss.)

I have no idea how to does the HC creme, or how much in spite of looking at all

posted here...so am winging it. I just want to SLEEP, can't take melatonin, DID

buy some phosphotidyle whatchamacallit. AM taking about 120mg of iron and the

magnesium.

Any help on knowing when/how much to dose the cytomel for a newbie whose whole

life have become about reading these message boards? I feel like all I do now

is take temps, take pills, monitor my high BP and stare at my bedroom ceiling at

three a.m., while also yanking tufts of my long hair out of the drain. It used

to be there was FAR more cat hair than kelly hair on my wood floors...not so

much any longer. Argh.
