Guest guest
HC decreases immune function only when taken in large amounts. The low amounts we take are " replacement dosages " , the same amounts our adrenals would be making (if they were still able to make cortisol adequately) and do not suppress immune function. I would like to cite a reference to one of Moderator Val's relevant posts here, but the annoying " search server " is not letting me look them up at the moment. > > I have been on HC for 2 months. I got a cold three weeks ago and have been coughing badly for two weeks. I finally gave in and went to urgent care this morning becuase the coughing is so bad. I have sinusitis & bronchitis. It seems so strange to get this sick. I think I may have read somewhere on this group that HC decreases immune function. Is that true? If so, do you know why this happens? > > TIA, Aimee >
