Guest guest
Hi I have been raising iron and magnesium a lot this past month and feeling better in general from that. At the end of my last period I tried 1/4 of a .25 vivelle estrogen patch and left the patch on for 3 days. My period this month is two weeks late which is very unusual for me. Would the little bit of estrogen at the beginning of last cycle be affecting this period? I also feel sort of hypothyroid (hair falling out, joints are sticking) and hypoadrenal (a little shaky feeling) and my pulse is higher (80's)and bp a little lower than usual but adding cortef just makes me feel like I have too much hc. I am not sure what I should be adjusting. If the patch didn't cause the period delay then would these hormone/iron changes change it to that extent? Even through these past couple of years of illness my period still always came monthly give or take a few days. Thanks for your help,
Guest guest
If it were me, I'd try taking the T3 in four smaller doses instead of three, and yes, if adjusting down, adjust the later-in-the-day doses first. I don't know how the estrogen is affecting things. I believe it would raise Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, but how this would affect the balances of other hormones I really don't know. Perhaps you can re-post this when Val is back? > > > > Hi > > > > > > I have been raising iron and magnesium a lot this past month and feeling better in general from that.
