Guest guest
did you try adding another 6.25 T3 per day? Sharon Remember! Dolls are people, too....have you hugged your dolls today? I am on 100mcg t3(cleared in November) and I feel like I still need more t3. I was doing pretty well all Summer and then went hypo 2 weeks ago. HC doesn't help! My doc has suggested adding some t4. I debate this in my head everyday.
Guest guest
We sometimes see people successfully switch back to NTH, but more often it just causes RT3 to build up again. If it were me, as long as I didn't have any hyper symptoms, I'd increase T3 by 6.25. Most people end up needing 75-125 post-clearance. It is also worth looking for HIGH cortisol symptoms. HC dosing may need adjusting down after clearance, and high cortisol will interfere with T3 effectiveness. Here's the " symptoms of too much HC " file from the Adrenals Group: " Common symptoms of too much HC: Increased BP Increased fatigue (high and low) Easy bruising or unexplained bruising Increased abdominal girth Face begins to round out and can be very red. Fat hump at base of neck Purple stretch marks on the abdomen Weight gain Mood changes especially inappropriate anger and feeling out of control Thanks to Patty!
