Guest guest
Maureen, I have a son that has tentatively been diagnosed with (?sp?) Sharko-Marie-Tooth syndrome, and my mom, the other one that walks funny, has a foot problem called Morton's syndrome. Those are the only two that have similar sx to me. My son would like a firmer diagnosis, but has no insurance, and my mom, at 79, isn't really interested in finding anything more out. In the back of my layman's mind, I kind of think it's a familial spastic paraplegia. We just exhibit different sx. Dr. Kay Floeter at NIH says it could be too, but without seeing my son or my mom, can't say for sure. We are the only 3 in the family, cousins, aunts & Uncles & all that have these sx. Isn't that weird? You'd think if it was HSP, there'd be more. Laurel
