Guest guest
Serum Ferritin 166 (10-120) Serum Iron 19 (14-30) TSH 2.32 (0.4-5) FT4 11.5 (10-22) Yes she si very hypothyroid with lwo iron. A FT4 this low indicated she is seriously hypo and the TSH is actually supressed by the low iron. BUT she really shoudl have adrenal saliva labs done on her own but can safely start iron now while waiting to do them. This combination seems to really trash the adrenals and at her age wiht meno looming or happening is also an adrenal stressor as well. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > Serum Ferritin 166 (10-120) > Serum Iron 19 (14-30) > TSH 2.32 (0.4-5) > FT4 11.5 (10-22)
Guest guest
, Thank you, thank you! Right- I will get her to do a saliva test! How much iron do you think she should take is 100mg enough? Do you think she would be lright on levothyroxine or should she try armour? You're a star-thank you Josie x > Serum Ferritin 166 (10-120) > Serum Iron 19 (14-30) > TSH 2.32 (0.4-5) > FT4 11.5 (10-22) > > Yes she si very hypothyroid with lwo iron.
