Guest guest
Janine You mentioned that you were were pregnant earlier this year with one in the UU and one in the Rud Horn. I am so sorry for your losses. I have tried to find some of your old posts but have not been successful. If it's not too difficult for you, would you mind answering a couple of questions for me? I understand if you don't feel comfortable doing so. Just answer what you can: 1. Do you know why you suffered a m/c in the UU at 9 weeks? 2. Were you planning on being on bed rest and having a cervical suture? 3. Why did your doctor allow the preg in the Rud Horn to continue to nine weeks? Were you initially planning on keeping the preg in the Rud Horn? For how long would it have continued? I've been told my Rud Horn would rupture at 18 weeks if a preg continued. I understand your Rud Horn is bigger. Was that the reason you were going to continue with it? 4. When you suffered the m/c in the UU at 9 weeks, why did you decide to end the preg in the Rud Horn. Too risky? 5. You have said that you are nervous about IVF because of pain in the ovaries? Presumably the pain would be from the medication to stimulate the ovaries and from egg collection. I believe that they administer a general or part general anaesthetic during egg collection so you shouldn't feel anything. Also, don't you have to take the same ovulation stimulation medication for IUI as for IVF? Are you taking any medication to stimulate the ovaries for conception right now? I've got an appointment with my IVF doctor/surgeon on 3 August to put everything in place for December. All the best. Amber, 32 UU/BU with rudimentary non-communicating horn firmly attached Past history of Endometriosis Past history of PCOS Starting IVF in December (excited) Happy to have found this site! __________________________________________________
