Guest guest
hi there i was SU (resected last march) and in january my OB told me i had 2 copies of the MTHFR C677T mutation. my homocysteine levels were normal so neither my RE nor my OB put me on any medicines i don't know if this is right or not - there are lots of things surrounding this MTHFR issue that are new and controversial - some women in a MTHFRPG yahoo board are on all sorts of meds (mostly folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12 and medicines like Fragmin (heparin?) or Folgard or Lovenox) - my RE doesn't think i need any of those and he's convinced my chemical pg (ended last week) was due to bad egg quality and not my mutation .... he also said that the MTHFR mutations are really VERY common but i don't know if that makes them less of a problem .... anyway, just wanted you to know that i'm in a similar boat here take care gabi
