Guest guest
In the past, I have just been getting my ferritin test done which always comes out fine, but since you are now advising to get the whole iron panel done, I just got my first iron panel done, and although my ferritin and iron levels are okay, it looks like I have low saturation and TIBC. Does that mean that I am not absorbing my iron into cells, and the iron is just pooling in the blood? And does this need to be dealt with before starting T3? And how do you improve saturation rate or TIBC if iron is okay? Thanks for any help on this!
