Guest guest
Dear All I need you advice again girls... On Friday I went to the hospital to start getting tracked for IUI, this time without clomid hopefully. The doc looks at the scan and it shows three follicles; 1 leading 1 (at day 10) on my good side at 14mm and 1 small 1 also on my good side at approx 11mm, but also a follicle on my bad side at 11mm. What should I do? What I have read I understand that 1 follcile should lead and produce 1 egg to fertlize with the sperm. The last time I did the IUI with clomid and had the 1 injection to time the ovulation, I ended up with 2 embryos. I had 1leading follcile on my good side at 20mm and 1 small one also on my good side. What I have read and understand is that with IUI the sperm are washed and the best are placed in the uterus therefore as they have not had to swim up thru the vagina, cervix etc they can go that bit further and therefore can be energetic enough to cross over to the other side. Is there any way they could not put the sperm up so high into the uterus? What would you girls do in my situation with 3 follicles, bearing in mind I am not on clomid this month. Would you not do IUI this month? Would clomid increase the chances of the 2 smaller follicles growing to maturity? I go back to get scanned Monday so your emails would be really appreciated. thanks Janine
