Hello,

I am new to this board and I am very glad to have found it! This is

my story...

Before I was pregant with my DD over 2 years ago, I was suspected to

have a uterine abnormality. I had an HSG prior to pregnancy, but

the hospital had lost the results! Right after this, I got

pregnant, so it was always a question. My DD was born at 32 weeks 6

days because of PPROM. She was an Emergency CS and was in a

transverse position. The Dr. said he didnt see any abnormality

during surgery. Now, after TTC for a year, I went to my RE and he

did an HSG. He thinks that I have a SU and he wants to do

surgery. I am going for an MRI tomorrow, so he will know better

about the surgery.

Has anyone on this board opted NOT to have surgery and had a

successful pregnancy? For anyone who has had the surgery, did you

go on to have a full term pregnancy? What was the surgery like?

How long did you have to wait after the surgery before TTC (my Dr.

said only 2 weeks???).

I guess I will have some questions answered after the MRI, but at

this point I am very confused! I'm scared to death of any surgery.

I'm also scared because I have heard that the surgery can cause

uterine rupture risks and infertility risks (although at this point,

I can't seem to conceive anyway!). I'm also scared because I have a

blood clotting problem and my Dr. says I have to see my hemotologist

before the surgery, in order to make sure that he can actually

operate without me bleeding too much!

I'd really appreciate anyone's insight!

Thanks,

Jen
