Guest guest
Hi J'me I am UD and my uterus measured far above what is was supposed to during my pregnancy. I remember at 33 weeks pregnant my obstetrician said my uterus measured at 40 weeks! He didn't measure at all after that as he was probably thinking he would freak me out. He was sure my baby would be huge ie a ten pounder or bigger but baby Jake was 7lb 13 oz when born at full term. I guess the fact that the uterus is not the right shape can make the measurements awry. Please don't worry yourself about it! all the best tte At my last doctor's appt., my uterus was measuring between 21-22 weeks; according to my due date I was between 22-23 weeks; and my ultrasound the day before had measured the baby at 24 weeks! Is this difference in size enough to worry about, or is it common? Does this happen in " non-MA " pregnancies - does anyone know? I'm worried that the baby is growing to fast for my uterus to accomodate? Hopefully I am over-reacting (as I tend to do).... Thanks in advance for any info. / advice! ~ J'me 29 UD 23w3d w/ #1 (Girl!) > > Hi J'me! > I have a weird variant of UD and had a cerclage placed due to cervical > surgical scarring (unrelated to MA).
