Guest guest
I saw a Dr. Friedman in LA in 2005 who said I had low aldosterone serum (6.5) but he couldn't do the ACTH Stim test and said I should take salt tabs; however I never had a craving for salt and didn't feel dizzy on standing so I never proceded. Now I am reading the symptoms and wonder if the low aldosterone is part of my overall problem; I have low BP, frequent urination (my glucose is 85), getting up to go bathroom at night, night sweats (this seems to have been greatly alleviated after switching to T3), and I have hearing loss. I just read that low aldosterone can cause hearing loss. Do you feel I can take a Aldosterone supplement from IAS without doctor advice? And is it ok to go on this while I am on T3 and adrenal support (isocort) and iron and are there any counterindications to these meds at same time?
