Guest guest
I calculate your ratio as 18. Anything under 20 indicates an RT3 issue. Although some group members have lower ratios, if you still have low temps and are on 8 grains natural thyroid, I think 18 is plenty bad enough. Also, Moderator has said that any RT3 near the top of the range is a problem...and yours is OVER range. Here's a link to Moderator Nick's RT3 website, I read every single page when I started and still refer to it often. It's our best source of info: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ We do now have an updated iron recommendation (many here have low iron and it needs to be checked prior to starting T3-only). In addition to a ferritin of 70-90, we now also recommend an iron panel showing a % saturation result. % saturation for good thyroid utilization is 35-45. To calculate the ratio, go to our " files " section and see " examples of how to calcuate RT3 ratio.doc " or " examples.txt " Hope this helps. > > Well, I got on here, I wanted to see if you thought I had this problem > reverse t3 358 range 90-350 > free t3 6.4 3-6 pg I know these ranges vary > > I still have low temp, I have no idea how to calculate the ratio. 8 grains thyroid canada. yes--8 grains. I was taking 7 grains but very depressed. >

Well, that explains why Armour + Cytomel did NOT work for me. My rt3 was at the very top of the range. :-( Kathleen
