Guest guest
Hi Kathleen: very sorry to hear you are having difficulty. If it was me, ideally I would also want labs to confirm, but if I was on the edge of panic attacks, especially with a highish pulse, I'd decrease the T3 a little and see if it helped. > > I've been VERY anxious and jittery, shaky, can barely settle down to concentrate, edge of panic attacks. I thought it was low cortisol due to recent bad stress, but my temps averaged 98.7 yesterday and today's readings are so far 99 and 98.9, plus pulse is 88, which is about 10 points high for me. > > I'm on 87.5 t3, have been on t3 way more than 12 weeks and am holding iron now without supps so I think I may have cleared. > > I would like to just lower my dose and see if it helps, but I should I get labs first to confirm? Because I'm also on 35 HC and wonder if that dose is still too high and pushing the t3 into my cells too fast, although it wasn't causing any problems before. Then again, I know when you clear, your HC needs can drop very suddenly. I have just come off stress dosing, too. > > So...should I hold out until I can get labs tomorrow morning? > > HELP! > > Thanks, > Kathleen >
Guest guest
These are cortisol symptoms not hyper symptoms. I would check thyroid and iron. Guest guest
Thank you, diane. What are hyper symptoms, then? Yes, I am checking both iron and thyroid tomorrow as well as electrolytes. I had stopped iron per Val as I was hanging onto it finally and iron had actually gone too high. But do you think it's HIGH cortisol, not low? I know they can be the same, which is confusing. Actually, this happened to me before and is the reason Val had me reducing my dose, which was way too high at 45. Today I am at 35 but I had stress dosed the past 2 days and maybe didn't come off it fast enough. Thank you, Kathleen > > > > I've been VERY anxious and jittery, shaky, can barely settle down to concentrate, edge of panic attacks. Guest guest
Thank you, Margery. I feel better tonight with the lower HC dose. I'm getting labs in the morning and if my temps and pulse are still high tomorrow, I'll reduce the t3 until the labs come in. Thanks for your support. :-) I am trying to stay positive. I really feel I am close; it's the tweaking that is SO hard! Kathleen > > > > I've been VERY anxious and jittery, shaky, can barely settle down to concentrate, edge of panic attacks. Guest guest
What symptoms were you having that you needed to stress dose for? How are you dosing HC?
