Dear ,

Great that you are calling doctor Laufer. Here is his

contact info:

Cent Repro Med

phone;

fax

My husband and i didnt use birth control for the 4

years during our dating before we got married (rhythm

method, ridiculously causally practiced as we got

closer to the marriage as we knew we were getting

married and i am 36 now so we needed to get going).

after we got married we tried really hard for about 3

months but bc of my condition i asked for referral to

infertility bc i suspected the vag septum if nothing

else was cutting my chances of getting preg in 1/2

(only having intercourse on 1 side).

Your case: Listen to what Laufer has to say and let

him do whatever diagnostic workups he wants to at the

Brigham. Have you been evaluated for endometriosis?

MAs more likely to have endo. Laufer figured out that

I had endo and this may have been interfering w/ my

TTC (what could be removed was removed by lap/hyst

before IVF. Got preg via IVF on the first try!

Since you live in Mass, IVF is covered by insurnace.

I think if Laufer reccs IVF you should go for it.

Brigham has an amazing IVF top doc Mark Hornstein.

Best wishes,

Heidi
