Guest guest
Hi Heidi - I'm sure Beth (the group founder) will reply - I know she tries hard to keep those sorts of messages out. It has actually only started happening recently to my knowledge (I've been on this group for two years). Anyway, one thing that might help - on your yahoo profile you can indicate that you just want to read the messages on-line, rather than have them e-mailed directly to you. That may help - you just never have to look at or open the occasional crude message that slips through. I only read the messages on-line due to the volumes of e-mail this group sometimes generates, I find it easier just to scan the titles and read those select messages I choose to. Cheers, a

I was just going to suggest the same thing...this is what I do, too. FWIW, I did remove the message and banned the author, but as far as I know, there isn't anything we can do to stop these posts from showing up. All we can do is remove them once they are here. It seems to come in waves...we have had a lot lately.
Guest guest
Dear and a, thanks for the helpful suggestion. I can do as you suggested and/or delete the emails no problem- im more concerned about my privacy/ my email getting on some awful list for future garbage. Thanks again, Heidi --- hawks8997@...> wrote: > > Anyway, one thing that might help - on your yahoo > profile you can > > indicate that you just want to read the messages > on-line, rather than > > have them e-mailed directly to you. > > I was just going to suggest the same thing...this is > what I do, too. > FWIW, I did remove the message and banned the > author, but as far as I > know, there isn't anything we can do to stop these > posts from showing > up.
