Guest guest
The thing is that I am in a complete mess, I don't feel confortable about doing the T3 protcol anymore. One of the reasons is that I am 41 and haven't been able to get pregnant (I have been trying for many years). I am considering IVF, but I fear no clinic will " accept " me taking T3 only. Other reason is that I am so focussed on the protocol that I don't have any energy for other issues in life. I spent all my day cheking this and that and getting really depressed if temps are too high or too low, etc... Finally I am scared about the risks of forgeting the meds, having an accident and not being properly medicated, etc... All these reasons I would put aside if I was actually feeling an improvement, but I can't say I do. I did experience clearance, my temps are higher, my pulse is higher, too high actually (so I guess T3 is getting into my cells), but I still have hypo symptoms (?), and emotionally I am a wreck. I actually think all this is stressing me a lot and lately I am crying all the time and feeling really hopeless. It seems clear for me that the kind of psychological stress I am going through is hindering my progess, but I feel trapped. My worse sympoms have always been " psychological " , panic attacks, agoraphobia, OCD, derealization... and I see really no improvemt, actualy this August has been really bad. I am considering going back to Natural Thyroid (ERFA) and try to work my problems from there. Any comments will be most welcomed, > >>>>>>> I am having problems rising T3. I am now taking 75 Cynomel and I would like to rise to see if I could feel better. I have had an awful month. I decided to go of the little bit of antidepressant I was taking (10 mg Anafranil) and I had a horrible month with panic attacks, insomnia, crying spells. > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> However when I rise T3 I get a very fast heart rate (I wake up with good heart rate, about 80, but during the day it gets above 100). Also I keep loosing weight being already too thin. The fast heart rate happened to me before (when I went up to 62.5 T3) and it eventually improved (I don't know exactly why but the two things I did were to increase HC and to take 400 magnesium). > >>>>>>> I have posted a lot here, but everything (iron, aldosterone, electrolites) seems to be O.K. according to this group. Only HC maybe wrong (although all the test I did before supplementing came out right), but I am supplementing 37.5 and still having problems rising T3. Could/Should I increase HC? what about increasing the magnesium dose? > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> Thanks, > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> ------------------------------------ > >>>>>>> > >>>>>>> We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences.
