Guest guest
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so excited for you and your family. Don't apologize for " fretting " . This website is an outlet and thankfully so. I am really hopeful now for me and my hudsband seeing that you are UD also. We've had 2 m/c this year and hopefully we won't have a 3rd when we start trying again. Any advice or knowledge of your experience would be most appreciated...when you get the time. Enjoy your little miracle and try to get plenty of rest. I will keep your family in my prayers. Guest guest
Hi - I am very sorry to hear about your loss, that must have been devastating. One thing that I recommend is to try anything! was in my smaller, less " dominant uterus " (I guess my reproductive system is a real mess in there?). Most doctors assumed that babies would thrive in the other uterus, but Sammy had a mind of her own.... I requested U/S every 2 weeks from week 14-24 to check for IC (luckily no complications); had a water bag leak at 27.5 weeks (I was in the hospital for 8 days), but it sealed itself (I think that Sammy was bound & determined to be here & healthy?!). I was on modified bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy... Then my water REALLY broke at 36 weeks, 5 days & she was delivered C- section (breech). She went straight to my room - not even a quick stop at the nursery!!!! Just keep trying, and assume the very best! I am posting pictures today, I hope they show up... ~ J'me, UD 29 Mommy to -Grace 1 Week, 1 Day old > I am so glad to hear your happy ending--it gives me hope. Guest guest
Hi Brandee - Thank you for your kind words, and I am very sorry for your losses. Don't give up hope! My story is a little different in that Sammy was in my " smaller, less dominant " uterus - doctors thought that she would thrive more in the larger one, but she did just fine where she was! So if you have 2, don't just stick to 1 side - if it is safe, give each side a chance. I had U/S to check for IC every 2 weeks from week 14-24, and luckily I has no problems there - but make them give you the U/S anyway! Better safe than sorry (plus it's nice to see the little one so often for reassurance. I did have a water bag leak at 27.5 weeks (was in the hospital for 8 days) (nothing to do with the UD - don't worry, just an added complication...) but it sealed itself! I was on modified bed rest the remainder of the pregnancy.... but it all ended in a C-section at 36 weeks, 5 days (breech). Just remember what my doctor told me.... we aren't going for 40 weeks, we are going for 32 (or even 28-30). If you can get to 28 weeks, your baby has a real chance at being healthy, 32 you have a GREAT chance. That helped ME anyway..... Keep us posted of your progress. *Blowing Baby Dust your way, ~ J'me 29 UD Mommy to -Grace, 8 days old > Hi All - > > I know a few of you have been following my rambling on this website... > fretting through about 90% of my pregnancy, with a great outcome! > > -Grace was born on August 9th, @ 4:55 pm - we were 36 weeks, 5 > days along... Guest guest
Hi J'me, Thanks for your response. In your response you stated: " Sammy was in my " smaller, less dominant " uterus - doctors thought that she would thrive more in the larger one, but she did just fine where she was! So if you have 2, don't just stick to 1 side - if it is safe, give each side a chance. " I can't tell what side is what. So I don't know what side we have sex in. I know some women can figure that out but there is no way I will be able to. The RE did tell me that it looks as though one side is the most dominantly used. I hope that's the best side to go to. Thanks again for your kind words. Brandee merlygyrl Vmprss526@...> wrote: Hi Brandee - Thank you for your kind words, and I am very sorry for your losses. Don't give up hope!
