Hi All, I know this is a question for the adrenal group, but as the group is

closed at the moment and I need advice urgently, I was wondering if you could

help.

I am doing a saliva test tomorrow to have my adrenals checked, but now I read

that HC creams can increase cortisol levels even weeks after using them. I only

used the cream a few times to see if it made a difference. That's now ten days

ago.

Do you think I can still go ahead and do the test tomorrow??

Please advise.

And apologies for addressing this issue here!!! Merith

You are supposed to wait 2 weeks after using anything that could affect

cortisol. I would wait out the extra 4 days.

I believe you have to be off HC in any form for two weeks in order to get an

accurate saliva cortisol test result. If it was me I'd wait the full two weeks.
