L-tryptophan was pulled from the health food store shelves about 20 years ago when someone took like a whole bottle as attempted suicide. I don't think the person suffered any long term affects but it was a whole big brew-ha-ha and an excuse for the anti-supplement proponents to make a case. But you can still get it at some stores and of course online. 5-htp is another form of tryptophan that is not as sleep-inducing. I take 5-htp as a calmer and it really nixes the kind of cravings that come from emotional stress. But L-tryptophan is the real stuff like you get from eating turkey that makes everyone sleepy at thanksgiving. That site I gave you has free shipping for any orders of $85 or more so i save up all my supplement needs and order at one time. I have neverr paid for shipping with them. However they also have specials run

all the time with certain companies where if you order anything from a certain company then all your order gets free shipping even if a small order. The specials change all the time. They have the bluebonnet brand that many people here recommend for the iron supplement and they have the doctors brands and you don't have to be a doctor to order them.

Sleep is still an issue and don't know why, I've tried melatonin and 5htp with no success. Seems like when I do an increase in T3 shortly after I go to high on cortisol and this definitely keeps me up and then I do a small decrease in HC.> I'm not sure if its just my body adjusting to the dosing regarding the sleep or if its possibly related to low aldosterone since my diastolic is till in the 60's.> > I just decreased HC 3 days ago by 2.5mg and my temps have been within .2 of each

other for 10 days except for one day it was .3 difference and that was the day I realized I was HIGH cortisol. Past 3 days have been within .2 .> > BP is hoving between 112 and 100. I think my adrenals may be a little stressed because of very little sleep for the past 4 nights. I don't feel adrenalized I just feel more hypo with depression and lack of motivation, brain foggy, moody and somtimes highly irritable. Energy on physical level is actually pretty good. This is more mental lethary and feeling down.> > My question is should I raise T3 by 6.25/12.5 mcg at this time?> > Also estrogen dominance seems to be an issue. Lots of breast tenderness even through period. Unusal. Not sure what this is about. Labs showed high estrogen - per Val.> I'm taking progesterone and Myomin for estogen dominance.> > Thank you for any suggestions.>
