Guest guest
I had a similar experience in the beginning of my treatment. My ferritin was a 25, my RT3 ratio 8 and my HC was 40mg. Though I had enough HC, I did not have enough ferritin. When I first started T3 I felt the nice energy, then I began to feel tired and I wasn't even on that much. It was because my iron was too low and I couldn't utilize my T3. I think it was around March when I started this. It is now Aug. and I am at 100mcg of T3. I had to increase slowly. For me I increased a little cynomel 6.25mcg when I felt hypo i.e. depressed, belly really swelling, dry. Then it helped it. I would wait until I felt the body was ready again to want more T3. I am not a mod, just my comments on myself and what I was doing. - > > I'm still feeling absolutely exhausted since starting T3. I'm now on > 37.5 mcg. I have low ferritin(39) and am supplementing iron(200 mg). I'm hoping that it might help the ferritin levels, though it continues to make me feel awful, despite having my having raised cortisol. > > My ratio of T3 to RT3 is 6.7 when last tested about 4 weeks ago. My temp today is 98.4, but very warm in house(84), so hard to tell if a 'real' number. > > Many thanks for all the great information.
