It's done this a couple of times lately and it's usually when I'm out. Today I was out just leisurely shopping and it hit. I can't stop this feeling until I take my meds. My hands are shaking and I have this internal tremble. I take my cytomel and it goes away. I would think that this is a symptom of low cortisol but since the cytomel helps I am puzzled. Any thoughts what is causing this?? > > Thanks, > Cindy > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences. Guest guest
LOL...Ok, now I'm more confused. So does that mean that I possibly need more T3?? I am back up to 100mcg. It's time to retest though. Guest guest
Thanks Val. Guest guest
Hey Val, I have not made any changes to the cytomel yet. I had something happen last night that I wanted to ask you about. I took my bedtime dose of 25mcg and I have been taking a 2.5mg dose of HC too because I was having panic attacks. About 15-30 minutes after that bedtime dose my heart rate went very high. It stayed high for about two hours then I finally fell asleep only to awaken in sort of a panic and the feeling that I was going to throw up. I ran to the bathroom and didn't throw up and was able to return to sleep afterwards. Could this have been caused by the HC allowing the T3 to get into the cells when it was not needed...maybe I don't need that bedtime dose? Sorry, I should be a veteran by now but these little things happen and I have no idea how to sort them out. I also apologize if 'm posting on the wrong group. I just never know if my symptoms are thyroid or adrenal sometimes. Thanks! Guest guest
Val, I forgot to mention that my basal temps today were 97.6-7. I checked my temps at about 10am and they were 98.4 and now they are 98.8 right now. Could I be on too much T3 and possibly the reason why I'm having issues. ??The T3 is using too much of my cortisol?? Just making guesses at this point.
