Guest guest
Hi All My test results have just come back .My RT3 was 443 pmol/L FT3 4.7 pmol/L FT4 12 pmol/L My antibodies were high but I know I have Hashimotos . Not sure what the next step is .I believe I may have a RT3 problem as I have been reading that the ratio of Free T3 divided by reverse T3 should be 20 or greater . I don't come anywhere near that . I have had thyroid problems for a few years that I know of and in all that time I still haven't been able to find a Dr to treat me .I really have little confidence in anything they say (mainly because it is the complete reverse to what I have read on stopthethyroidmadness web site) I know there is different views on treating different conditions but the last Dr I saw openly admitted that she didn't know too much about Thyroid treatment and that I would be a lot better informed than she .(These are the people we intrust our health to ) BIT SCARY !! I am the first to admit I am not a full bottle on this subject ,such a lot to absorb . Robyn
Guest guest
Hi Gerry. You hav ecome to the rightplace. Will this doctor prescribe for you what you ask for? You definitly have an RT3 problem. Next htings to checlk are saliva cortils which is a 4 times test for differnt times of the day you do at ahome. ANd a FULL iron panel. We are finding SO many hypothyroid people have ;low iron iand it WILL prevent you being able to optimize thyroid, so it should be one of the very first tests done when you find your self hypo. Please read Nick's site for info abotu RT3 and it's treatment, http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://www.nthadrenalsweb.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ Hi All My test results have just come back .My RT3 was 443 pmol/L FT3 4.7 pmol/L FT4 12 pmol/L My antibodies were high but I know I have Hashimotos .
