Guest guest
I was diagnosed with a UU a couple of years ago, since which time we tried to get pregnant. Last year we did conceive but unfortunately there were some defects and we miscarried at 12 weeks. I caught early this year and had no problems, until at 28 weeks I went into premature labour - the baby was breeched and was delivered by c-section. The birth was very difficult and unfortunately our baby girl died hours after being born. Apparently they discovered in surgery during the birth that I had an `unusual shaped uterus' which caused problems trying to get the baby out. Everyone during my pregnancy, seemed to know little or nothing about the UU and what problems/issues it could cause. I obviously wish to find out more about what care/support should be provided throughout pregnancy - can anyone provide any experiences?
