Guest guest
Di Aside from buying a new laptop you might also look at the wireless mouse and keyboard sets. I have seen them at the office supply chains. I got mine from Dell when I bought the last computer. I can sit 5 feet away from the desktop and still use the keyboard and mouse. Laptops on a wireless connection allow you to 'Internet' anywhere: back patio, front porch, couch. However, wireless connections are vulnerable to a completely separate hacker attack plus without proper encryption your identity and vital info can be swiped by a neighbor with a tin can. For example I have both desktop and laptop. Desktop had no hacker attemps that made it thru the firebox in 3 months. Laptop which has a wireless router going thru the firebox has had between 600-700 hacker attempts per month (from 2 main IP addresses orginated outside Washington DC) These attempts did not penetrate the dual firewall software I have in place. Above all its hard to get the peanut butter and cracker crumbs out of the laptop keyboard. Eva
